ABOUT THE EVENT
2nd International Symposium on Collaborative Informatics (2nd ISCI 2025)
With the objective of continuing the interaction initiated between the researchers during earlier joint symposia including ISCI 2015, and academic collaboration between India and Japan, it is planned to organize the 2ndInternational Symposium on Collaborative Informatics (2ndISCI 2025) during December 17-19, 2025.
The proposed symposium intends to provide a common platform for bringing together researchers from universities and industries in India, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other countries for expanding academic and research collaboration. It is expected that the emerging technologies and scientific advancements in multiple themes, as listed below under broad areas, will be disseminated during the Symposium. Presentations will also feature new and innovative technologies in the relevant fields.

THEMES
BROAD AREAS
ï‚· Mathematics and Informatics: dealing with the mathematical foundation of information science (informatics), including type theory, mathematical logic, program theory, program verification,
theory on algorithm, information theory, coding theory, cryptology, and so on.
ï‚· Biological Cognitive Informatics: dealing with the development of computing systems that work best with how humans process information, creating more seamless human-systems integration.
ï‚· Engineering informatics: dealing with the application of information technology (IT) knowledge, methods, models, and algorithms that support engineering and management activities including from customer requirements to design and production operations.
ï‚· Intelligent Informatics: dealing with tools and systems using biologically and linguistically motivated computational paradigms, such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary optimization, rough sets, data mining, Web intelligence etc.
ï‚· Modern Informatics: dealing with e-surveillance, remote security surveillance, electronic security, artificial intelligence, internet of things.
ï‚· Medical, Dental and Nursing Informatics: dealing with automated patient and clinical data records, improved operations at health care facilities, simplified data collection, tracking, and analysis, and real-time access to patient information anytime, anywhere. This includes assembling and maintaining medical records from clinicians' notes, transcribing dictation from clinicians on vital patient information and overseeing the appropriate release of patient information, including the correct coding essential for billing and for patient care.
ï‚· Agriculture informatics: dealing with agricultural Information, engineering of agricultural Information systems and agricultural information processing, information communication technology (ICT) innovation in agriculture, food, and the environment.
ï‚· Aquaculture informatics: dealing with the scientific applications of Information Technology in biological concepts that enhance the productivity and economic viability of aquaculture sectors.
ï‚· Geo-informatics: dealing with development and application of information science infrastructure to address the problems of earth sciences such as geography, geodesy, cartography, photogrammetric
, GPS, GIS, and related branches of science and engineering.
ï‚· Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Techniques in science, engineering, management, health sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

ABOUT UBDTCE, Davangere
University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davanagere, is located in the central part of Karanataka(State), India. Started in the year 1951, it was the only Government Engineering College in the state. TheCollege was named after the donors Bramhappa Devendrappa Tanvarappanavar (BDT), who donated 1.5lakh rupees for the construction of buildings. The Maharaja of Mysore Sri Jayachamarajendra WodeyarBahadur laid the foundation stone for the College building on August 7, 1951.The College was started with only one branch in Civil Engineering (1951) at Under Graduate (UG) level.Subsequently, other branches of engineering such as Mechanical, and Electrical & Electronics (1957),Electronics & Communication (1972), Computer Science, and Instrumentation Technology (CurrentlyElectronics & Instrumentation) (1984), and Industrial & Production (1996) have been added. The currentintake of the College from all these branches is 410 at the UG level. The Post Graduate (PG) programme inProduction Engineering Systems Technology (PEST) was started in the year 1987.In the year 2003, sevenmore PG programmes such as Computer Aided Design of Structures (CADS), Environmental Engineering,Thermal Power Engineering, Machine Design, Digital Communication and Networking, Power Systems andPower Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, were introduced in different disciplines. The MBA,MCA programmes were started in the year 2011.
